Lau Nørgaard

Lau Nørgaard has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Lau began their career in 1995 at Experimentarium, where they worked as an Electronics and Software Developer and later transitioned to the role of Exhibition Pilot. In 2003, they joined Videometer A/S as an R&D Engineer, focusing on the development of computer vision systems for automatic inspection and optical measurements. In 2006, they briefly worked at DELTA Light and Optics as an R&D Engineer, focusing on developing embedded software for advanced optical instruments. Since 2006, Lau has been with Phase One, where they held various positions, including R&D Engineer, Technical Project Manager, Vice President of R&D, Chief Visionary Officer, Vice President of Product Management, and currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer. Overall, Lau Nørgaard has a strong background in research and development, project management, and leadership roles.

Lau Nørgaard began their education at Gladsaxe Gymnasium, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they attended the University of Copenhagen in 1994-1995, studying Physics. From 1995 to 2000, Nørgaard continued their education at the Technical University of Denmark, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Finally, they pursued a Master's degree in Informatics Engineering specializing in Computer Vision and Graphics at Aalborg University from 2000 to 2003.
