Jim Kimball

Jim Kimball is a highly experienced architectural professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal at Phase Zero Design Inc since June 2009, Jim has also contributed as Adjunct Faculty at Boston Architectural College from September 2009 to December 2022, focusing on Professional Practice Management. Prior roles include Principal at Cubellis, Associate Principal at Carter & Burgess, and Director of Architecture and Engineering at ShopKo Stores, Inc. Jim's earlier career includes positions such as Manager of Store Layout & Design at Kohls, Manager of Store Planning at Casual Corner Group, Project Manager at Filene's Basement, and Project Architect at Dooling & Company Architects. Jim holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1985.
