Justin Kalaskey

Justin Kalaskey has worked in a variety of roles in the design industry since 2012. Justin'smost recent experience is as a UX Designer at Phase2, beginning in 2021. Prior to this, they were an Arts Media and Communication Advisor at Howard County Public Schools from 2019 to 2021. Between 2017 and 2019, they held roles as an Associate Director of UX, Senior UX/UI Designer, and UX/UI Designer at WebMechanix and Ghost Note, respectively. Prior to that, they were a Web Designer at WebMechanix from 2014 to 2017, and a Web Designer at The Baltimore Sun from 2013 to 2014. Justin began their design career in 2012 as a Graphic Artist Temp at Thorlabs.

Justin Kalaskey obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Graphic Design from York College of Pennsylvania between 2008 and 2012. In 2021, they earned a certification in UX Management: Strategy and Tactics from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). In 2022, they obtained a certification in Design Thinking: The Beginner's Guide from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF).
