Joe Laporte

Joe LaPorte has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industry. Joe is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at PHC Biomed since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director - Projects and Regulatory at the same company from April 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining PHC Biomed, Joe worked as a Product Director from April 2017 to April 2020 and as a Director - Product and Development from November 2016 to April 2017 at PHC Biomed. Joe also held the role of Director - Product and Marketing from April 2015 to November 2016 at the same company.

Joe has also worked at Panasonic Healthcare Company of North America as a Director - Product Group from July 2013 to March 2015 and as a Senior Product Manager from April 2012 to July 2013.

Additionally, Joe has work experience at Sanyo, where they served as a Product Manager from April 2011 to April 2012 and as a National Service Manager from October 2002 to April 2011. Before Sanyo, they worked at Sanyo Canada as a Service Manager - HVAC and Lab Products from August 1996 to October 2002.

Joe's early career includes roles at Caltec Scientific Ltd, where they worked as a National Service Manager from February 1995 to August 1996, as an Eastern Region Service Supervisor from November 1989 to February 1995, and as a Field Service Engineer from March 1985 to November 1989.

Joe LaPorte earned a Bachelor's degree in Project Management from Colorado State University Global in the years 2015-2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from George Brown College in the years 1986-1987. Their earliest educational achievement was a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RCC Institute of Technology in the years 1984-1985.
