Adam Fokken is the Co-Founder and CTO at phData. Adam has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on cloud computing, automation, and security.

Adam began their career as a Software Engineer with Northwest Airlines, working in the flight simulator department. Adam then spent a year as a Web Programmer Intern with Medtronic Inc., before being promoted to Web Application Designer and Developer. At Medtronic, Adam was responsible for enhancing customer productivity by creating a HIPAA compliant web application.

In 2005, Adam joined Thomson Reuters as a Principal Architect Cloud. In this role, they designed the company's enterprise strategy for leveraging AWS, and provided technical leadership on the development of automation tools to setup environments. Adam also worked with product architects on best practices for building cloud-based applications.

Adam is a passionate advocate for the use of technology to improve business efficiency and enable companies to scale. Adam is a thought leader in the area of cloud computing, and has spoken at numerous industry events on the topic.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Adam Fokken's educational career began with him obtaining their B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Adam then went on to obtain their MBA in Information Systems from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
