Matthew Carlin

Matthew Carlin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering and solutions architecture. Currently serving as Solutions Engineering Manager at phData since October 2017, Matthew has also held roles as Principal Solutions Architect and Senior Data Engineer, where responsibilities included building data products on distributed data platforms. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist position at 3M, where Matthew developed text classification models and engineered ETL pipelines, and a Business Analyst role at Memorial Blood Centers, focusing on supply and demand forecasting and reporting automation. Additional roles include IT Consultant at Epiq Systems and Associate at BDO USA, LLP, contributing to statistical modeling and compliance reporting. Matthew holds a BA in Economics from Fordham University and an MS in Data Science from the University of St. Thomas.
