Peter Hansen

Peter Hansen is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at phData since November 2021, following experience as a Data Scientist at Explore Information Services from March 2019 to November 2021. Peter's background includes significant research roles at the University of Minnesota, where as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant from May 2012 to January 2019, there was a focus on enhancing students' understanding in introductory physics courses. Peter also completed a Data Scientist Internship at ITM TwentyFirst, where analysis led to insights on predicting cognitive disorders. Earlier academic endeavors involved research at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, contributing to studies on electromagnetic fields and laser optics. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
