Pheasants Forever
MaKenna Martin Pepper is a dedicated wildlife biologist with extensive experience in wildlife management and conservation. Currently serving as a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist at Pheasants Forever since October 2020, MaKenna previously held positions including Piping Plover Steward Crew Leader at Suffolk County Parks and Waterfowl Banding Intern at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. MaKenna's internship experiences are complemented by a Natural Resource Management Internship at the US Army Corps of Engineers and a Summer Internship focused on educational resources at the Endless Mountains Resource Conservation and Development Council. MaKenna earned a degree in Wildlife Management from SUNY Cobleskill, further strengthening expertise in wildlife, fish, and wildlands science and management.

Pheasants Forever
Pheasants Forever is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. At the heart of Pheasants Forever is the unique grassroots system of fundraising and project development that allows members to see the direct result of their contributions. Pheasants Forever and its quail division, Quail Forever, empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers are able to see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy.
