Pheasants Forever
Mikayla Peper is an experienced marketing professional with a background in communications and agricultural marketing. Currently serving as a Marketing Assistant at VAS since June 2023, Mikayla previously worked as a Communications Intern at Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative where responsibilities included creating graphics and strategizing social media content. Prior experience includes roles as a Communications Student Worker at the University of Minnesota-Department of Animal Science, an Editorial Intern at Hoard's Dairyman, and multiple internships at Midwest Dairy and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Mikayla holds a degree in Agricultural Communication and Marketing from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2023.

Pheasants Forever
Pheasants Forever is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. At the heart of Pheasants Forever is the unique grassroots system of fundraising and project development that allows members to see the direct result of their contributions. Pheasants Forever and its quail division, Quail Forever, empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers are able to see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy.
