Pheasants Forever is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.  

At the heart of Pheasants Forever is the unique grassroots system of fundraising and project development that allows members to see the direct result of their contributions. Pheasants Forever and its quail division, Quail Forever, empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers are able to see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy.

The Data and Analysis Team at Pheasants Forever is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support conservation efforts and program effectiveness. This team utilizes geographic information systems (GIS) and various analytical tools to assess habitats, track wildlife populations, and evaluate the impact of local conservation initiatives. By providing actionable insights and recommendations, they empower grassroots chapters to make informed decisions about funding and habitat management, ensuring the mission of wildlife conservation is effectively upheld.
