Joseane Sampaio

Joseane Sampaio has over 8 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Pharmacist and Store Manager at RD. During this time, they were responsible for distributing medicines, providing information to customers, controlling stock, and conducting quality control reports. Joseane was also responsible for leading the team to increase the monthly revenue by 50%. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Pharmacy/Store Manager at Drogaria Onofre, where they managed 15 employees and was responsible for the analysis, development, and execution of all financial and customer satisfaction indicators. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician at Koshland Pharm: Custom Compounding Pharmacy, where they were responsible for compounding high-quality and customized medications and promoting patient safety. Currently, they are working as a Research Associate at Ensigna Biosystems, Inc., where their duties include designing gene expression experiments, trimming tissues, mRNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, and statistical analysis of gene expression data. In 2022, they will begin working as a Research Associate II at Pheast Therapeutics.

Joseane Sampaio attended the Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões (URI) from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Joseane then went on to attend USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Science in Toxicology and Toxicological Analysis. In 2019, they attended the City College of San Francisco for the Vocational Office Training Program (VOTP). In addition, they obtained two certifications in 2019, the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the Pharmacy Technician from the California Board of Pharmacy.
