Rachel Brewer has a diverse work experience. Rachel began their career in 2012 working as a lifeguard and cashier at Arcata Community Pool. Rachel was then promoted to a supervisory role in the same company. In 2016, they began working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Humboldt State University, where they were responsible for teaching undergraduate laboratory sections and curating the course curricula for the intro for majors course. In 2017, they were awarded and funded by Humboldt State CIRM Bridges Program to work as a CIRM Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine. Rachel then worked as a Life Science Research Professional 2 at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2018. In 2021, Rachel began working as an Associate Scientist at Pheast Therapeutics.
Rachel Brewer attended Humboldt State University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Rachel then returned to Humboldt State University from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Science in Stem Cell Biology.
