Hassaan Ahmed, PhD

Hassaan Ahmed, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of Phelix.ai, a company that specializes in low-code, omni-channel, and AI powered virtual assistants for healthcare providers and developers. Prior to this role, Dr. Ahmed served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Robarts Research Institute, where they conducted research in Medical Biophysics under the supervision of Dr. Ting Lee. Hassaan also co-founded HoneyWater, a line of healthy and natural water beverages sweetened with Canadian honey, and GymNut, a social fitness marketplace for personal trainers and fitness professionals. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed worked as a Medical Assistant at Appletree Medical Group, where they were involved in patient triage, clinical workflow optimization, and electronic medical record management.

Hassaan Ahmed, PhD, has a strong education background in the field of Medical Biophysics. Hassaan first obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biopharmaceutical Science with a specialization in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Ottawa, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Biophysics at Western University from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their educational journey, Hassaan Ahmed then achieved their highest academic degree, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), also in Medical Biophysics, from Western University between 2010 and 2016. With their extensive educational background in the field, Hassaan Ahmed is well-positioned to contribute to the advancement of Medical Biophysics.
