Barbara Arras

Barbara Arras is a Senior Partner at Phelps Dunbar LLP with extensive experience in toxic tort medical defense, specializing in asbestos, benzene, and other chemical causation issues. Previously, Barbara worked as an Associate at Deutsch Kerrigan & Stiles focusing on asbestos medical defense and as an Attorney at USG managing asbestos personal injury claims nationwide. Barbara also has experience in product liability litigation and contract drafting and review from their time as an Attorney at Trans Union Corporation. Barbara holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a BA in History from Northwestern University with Departmental Honors in History.
