Dirk Meuleman

Dirk Meuleman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dirk currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-CEO at Phenix Capital Group, an investment consultant that supports institutional investors in impact and sustainable development goals (SDG) investing. In these roles, they work towards accelerating the flow of capital from institutional investors to impact and SDG investments. Dirk has been with Phenix Capital since 2015.

In addition to their work at Phenix Capital, Dirk is also an Investment Committee member at Carbon Equity, starting in 2021.

Prior to joining Phenix Capital, Dirk served as the Owner of Anmada, starting in 2014. Dirk also worked at Shell as a Portfolio Manager for private equity and infrastructure from 2012 to 2014, and at MN as a Fund Manager for private equity and infrastructure from 2010 to 2012.

Dirk began their career at Mn Services, where they worked as an Analyst for private equity, infrastructure, and commodities from 2007 to 2009. Dirk also completed a traineeship in asset management during this time.

Before entering the finance industry, Dirk worked as an HBO Docent in Finance & Accounting at Eurocollege Hogeschool from 2004 to 2007. Dirk also served as a Gemeenteraadslid (Municipal Council Member) at Gemeente Delft in 2002 and as the Voorzitter (Chair) at STIP in 2001.

Dirk Meuleman's education history begins with their enrollment at Christelijk Streeklyceum Ede from 1992 to 1999, where they completed their VWO degree. Dirk then pursued higher education at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999 to 2007, although the specific degree and field of study are not specified. In 2008, they attended CAIA and obtained a degree in Alternative Investments, completing their studies in 2009. From 2007 to 2011, Dirk studied Investment Management at the CFA Institute, achieving a CFA degree.
