Phil Joseph is a software engineer who currently works as the lead engineer at Phenix. Phil has over ten years of experience in the field, having worked at various companies such as Optiver, Neokast, and Northwestern Residential Networking. At Optiver, they were responsible for porting error reporting, protocol, and other software from C# to C++, creating new and porting existing unit tests for CppUnit. Phil also updated, built and tested a large portion of Windows software on Mac OS and Linux, including the building and linking of 3rd party libraries including boost and ACE. At Neokast, they were responsible for providing networking support to users in their residence halls by troubleshooting connectivity and internet applications and solving general software and hardware computer issues. Phil Joseph has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field and is an asset to any team.

Phil Joseph has a masters in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University. Phil also went to Richwoods High School.
