Angel Sanchez, Jr. has a diversified work experience in different industries such as firefighting, banking, and manufacturing. Angel has worked as a Lieutenant/Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician for Riverside County Fire Department for 28 years. Angel worked for Bank of America as a Senior Process Design Engineer and Learning Manager from 2000 to 2004, and as a Vice President for Government Partnerships from 2005 to 2010. Afterwards, they worked as an instructor for the Center for International Trade Development-Inland Empire, and as a part-time teacher and student trainer manager for Notre Dame High School Riverside. Angel was also a Manufacturing Industry Champion for Ca. Slingshot Initiative - Riverside County Workforce from 2015 to 2020, and an Advanced Manufacturing Subcommittee Member for California Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship from 2020 to 2022. Since 2012, they worked for Phenix Technology in different roles such as Chief Financial Manager, Director of Global Operations, and eventually Chief Executive Officer in 2022. Lastly, they were the Chairman and President of the Jurupa Valley Adopt a Family program from 1993 to 2017.
Angel Sanchez, Jr. earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Administration of Justice from Riverside City College between 1990 and 1995. Later, they graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. This degree, in particular, was achieved between 2004 and 2008.
