Katherine Wood

Katherine Wood is a Senior Manager in Operations Finance at Phenomenex since December 2024, previously serving as Business Controller and Global CAPEX Controller at PolyPeptide Group from November 2019 to December 2024. In these roles, Katherine refined and managed the CAPEX finance process and established budgeting and forecasting measures while coordinating with internal stakeholders. Additional responsibilities included supervising startup activities for Oligonucleotide manufacturing. Prior to this, Katherine worked as a Production Chemist II and I, focusing on the manufacturing of neoantigen polypeptides and T-cell therapies. Katherine also gained experience as an Assistant Scientist at PPD, where analytical development supported GMP testing labs. Katherine holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Global Languages & Culture from Northern Arizona University, along with international study experiences at Université Côte d'Azur and Université de Caen Normandie.
