Lucia Geis Asteggiante

Lucia Geis Asteggiante is a Senior Technical Specialist at Phenomenex since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in analytical chemistry and environmental science. Prior to this role, Lucia served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford from February 2017 to July 2018 and completed a PhD in Bioanalytical Chemistry at the University of Maryland, where research focused on mass spectrometry top-down proteomics. With a Master's in Environmental Engineering from the same institution, Lucia's earlier work included examining agricultural nutrient sources and developing analytical methods for detecting veterinary drugs and microcystins at USDA-ARS, as well as researching antiviral compounds in Uruguay.
