Abhinav Lunawat

Abhinav Lunawat has extensive experience in the payments and banking industry. Abhinav currently serves as a Project Director for Airport Payments at Phi Commerce Private Limited, where they are responsible for building the ecosystem-specific PoS Acquiring Solution for one of the largest airport ecosystems in India. Abhinav focuses on enhancing user experience, driving merchant engagement, and accelerating transaction volumes.

Prior to their current role, Abhinav co-founded BluPay at enEXL Technologies & Solutions (p) Ltd. Abhinav played a crucial role in shaping the BluPay offering, attracting one of India's largest retailers, and ensuring successful implementation and usage. Abhinav consistently improved the user experience and simplified processes for quicker adoption and scaling.

Abhinav's previous experience includes various roles at Axis Bank and ICICI Bank Ltd. At Axis Bank, they managed business growth for the Corporate Merchants portfolio and contributed to making the bank one of the top PoS acquirers in the country. At ICICI Bank Ltd., Abhinav contributed to the development of the bank's mobile payments solution and led the Merchant sales and relationship team, helping the bank achieve a leadership position in the retail segment.

Before entering the payments and banking industry, Abhinav gained sales experience at Ambuja Cements Ltd., a LafargeHolcim Group Company.

Abhinav Lunawat completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce from Bhopal School of Social Sciences between 1993 and 1996. Abhinav then pursued a Master of Business Economics degree in Marketing from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya between 1996 and 1998. In May 2020, Abhinav also obtained a certification in "Disrupting Yourself" from LinkedIn.
