Rohit Katyal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rohit began their career at ICICI Bank as a Regional Sales representative for Retail Liabilities. Rohit then moved on to Tata Capital, where they held various roles, including AVP & Zonal Head, responsible for business development and revenue generation in North India. Rohit also worked at Religare Insurance Broking Ltd as the National Head of Business Initiatives, where they successfully set up and drove the Retail Insurance business.

In subsequent years, Rohit held positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank as the Circle Sales Head for Retail Banking, and at Paytm as the National Sales representative for Payments Gateway & Wallet. Rohit was also a founding team member at Airtel Payments Bank, where they played a crucial role in launching the Digital Payments Alliances & Merchant Acceptance ecosystem across India.

Continuing their career journey, Rohit joined Droom as the Head of BFSI & Financial Services business and later became the Senior Director of Enterprise Business & Alliances. Rohit then worked at Razorpay as the Director & Head of BFSI, Enterprise Sales. After that, they joined Easebuzz as the Group Head of Business and later became the Senior Vice President and Group Head. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Business Officer at Phi Commerce Private Limited.

Rohit Katyal holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Delhi University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Rohit later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Additionally, they attained a certification in Composite Insurance Broking with a specialization in Life & General Insurance from the National Insurance Academy, Pune. Rohit also completed a course in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at IILM. In terms of additional certifications, Rohit obtained one in Insurance Broking from NIA in September 2019, and another one in AMFI from NSDL, although the specific details regarding the month and year are not provided.
