Matthew Higgins is the Dealer Principal at Phil Gilbert Hyundai. Matthew has previously worked as a sales consultant and bar manager. Prior to that, they were with Amazon. Their first job was with Hurricane's Grill in Australia, where they were responsible for providing supportive and effective management to staff within all areas of responsibility. Matthew was also in charge of ensuring that staff complied with all required professional boundaries and codes of conduct. Matthew then became the bar manager and was responsible for controlling inventory with attention to budget guidelines, monitoring BOH for consistent sanitation, food quality and presentation, and coaching servers to maximum levels of performance.
Matthew Higgins has a tourism diploma from the College of Sydney and a hospitality management degree from Hospitality Management. Matthew has experience in the tourism and travel services management field as well as food service and dining room management.
Matthew Higgins reports to Phil Gilbert, Managing Director. They are on a team with Phil Kable - Operations Director, Simone Gilbert - Guest Experience Director, and Michael Bensley - Parts & Retention Manager.
