Peter Bidey

Peter Bidey, DO, MSEd, FACOFP, currently serves as the Dean and Chief Academic Officer at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where additional roles include Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Vice Chair of the same department. Bidey's extensive experience includes previous positions such as Director of Medical Education at Suburban Community Hospital and Program Director at the PCOM/Suburban Community Hospital Family Medicine Residency. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Peter Bidey has also attained a Master of Education in Medical Education from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Policy Studies Fellowship at the New York Institute of Technology. Early career experiences include research at the Dr. Joseph R. McCormick Laboratory and a laboratory technician role at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
