Ryan Hemenway

Senior Director, Operations at Philadelphia Flyers

Ryan Hemenway is currently the Director of Operations for the Philadelphia Flyers. Ryan has over fifteen years of experience in operations management, including overseeing two internationally recognized multi-purpose arenas. Ryan has been with the Flyers organization since December 2005 and was responsible for the operational aspects of both the Wachovia Spectrum arena (which was demolished in 2010) and the Wells Fargo Center arena. Ryan has also been responsible for upholding both facilities to NBA, NHL, and AHL standards along with over two hundred other events per season. In addition to their work with the Flyers, Ryan has also been involved with Comcast-Spectacor/Global-Spectrum as an Operations Manager for the Wells Fargo Complex. Ryan has been responsible for creating and implementing the operating and capital budget for the former Wachovia Spectrum while assisting in the development and execution of Wells Fargo Center operating and capital budget. Ryan has also participated in the bargaining agreements for skilled union trade labor.

Ryan Hemenway has a Master of Science in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and an Associate of the Arts from the University of Florida.
