Howard Lebofsky has extensive experience in law and public service, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Philadelphia Gas Works since 1973, with a focus on litigation in employment law and roles as Ethics, Open Records, and Privacy Officer. Additionally, Howard has held positions as President, Chairman of the Board, and Vice President of the same company since 2013. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Attorney at the City of Philadelphia - Law Department (1996-2001) and Partner at Goren & Lebofsky, P.C. (1987-1996), with a specialized focus on employment law. Earlier in their career, Howard worked in law enforcement, serving as a Police Officer and Detective with the Philadelphia Police Department from 1971 to 1984, and later as Executive Assistant for Police and Security at Temple University from 1984 to 1995. Howard earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice - Sociology from La Salle University.
