John Sherman

John Sherman has over 39 years of experience in financial management, currently serving as Treasury Manager at Philadelphia Gas Works since March 2001, where responsibilities include oversight of cash and investment portfolios totaling nearly $500 million annually, as well as managing a tax-exempt commercial paper program and banking relations. Prior roles at Philadelphia Gas Works include Manager of Cash and Finance, Staff Accountant, and Payroll and Accounts Payable Supervisor. Before joining Philadelphia Gas Works, John Sherman was the Controller at Atlantic Systems, Inc. John Sherman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University and completed coursework at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008.
