Megan Clarkin

Megan O'Leary Clarkin, AICP, currently serves as the Manager of New Energy Ventures at Philadelphia Gas Works since September 2025. Prior to this role, Megan held the position of Director of Infrastructure Services at the City of Philadelphia, overseeing a substantial infrastructure portfolio from October 2022 to September 2025, ensuring equitable infrastructure support across city departments. With extensive experience at the Philadelphia Water Department, Megan occupied various positions, including Senior Infrastructure Program Coordinator and City Planner Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing professional services contracts, leading teams focused on stormwater management, and developing Requests for Proposals. Academically, Megan holds a Master of City and Regional Planning with a focus on Environmental Planning from Rutgers University and a BA in Conflict and Peace Studies from Muhlenberg College. Additional education includes a study abroad program in Northern Ireland focused on the transformation of social and political conflict.
