Ellissa Collier is a Senior Program Manager at Mural Arts Philadelphia, overseeing the Strength Through Solidarity Art & Environmental Justice Co-Learning Initiative, which focuses on supporting BIPOC-led Environmental Justice organizations in Chicago, Baltimore, and Camden. As a consultant with ACalmIsland, Ellissa develops customized curriculum, workshops, and training for non-profit and social services organizations, emphasizing social engagement and trauma-informed care. Previously, Ellissa served as a Certified Trauma Facilitator & Educator at Lakeside Global Institute, providing advanced training in trauma-informed strategies to numerous social workers and educators. Earlier roles include Restorative Practices Program Manager at Mural Arts Philadelphia and Arts & Community Engagement Professor at Moore College of Art and Design. Ellissa holds a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University and has studied at multiple esteemed institutions, including the International Institute for Restorative Practices and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
