Diego Parra

Diego Parra has a diverse work experience in the field of sports coaching and analysis. Diego started their career as an intern at Fort Lauderdale Strikers, where they assisted in marketing and customer service. Diego then interned at Kaptiva Sports, where they administered logistics and provided customer service for FCBEscola summer camps.

Diego later joined the University Athletic Association Inc as an OPS Assistant before moving on to Orlando City SC as a Performance Analyst Intern. In this role, they coded, filmed, and analyzed training sessions and games, and created scouting reports for upcoming opponents.

Diego further enhanced their skills as an Assistant Video Analyst at Minnesota United FC, where they coded and filmed practices and games and assisted with opposition scouting. Most recently, they worked as an Academy Video Analyst at Philadelphia Union.

Prior to their roles in the United States, Diego gained valuable experience at FC Barcelona. Diego started as an Assistant Coach at the FCBEscola in Fort Lauderdale before being promoted to Head Coach at the FC Barcelona Academy in Kissimmee, Florida. Finally, they served as a Head Coach at the FC Barcelona PRO Academy in Miami. In these roles, they improved the abilities of recreational and competitive players, led them in statewide leagues and tournaments, and worked alongside official FC Barcelona coaches. Additionally, they held the position of FCBESCOLA FLORIDA Customer Service and Logistics Manager, where they planned logistics for summer soccer camps and managed customer service.

Diego received a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Florida in 2020. Diego has additional certifications in the form of a Master of Science degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology: Human Performance, obtained in December 2021, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, obtained in December 2019, both from the University of Florida.
