Gregory Thomson

Gregory Thomson is an experienced professional in youth development and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Skilled Building Trades at Philadelphia Youth Basketball since July 2024. Previously, Gregory held various leadership roles at Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence from February 2017 to July 2024, including Director of Community-Based Program, School-Based Team Leader, and School-Based Program Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as Advertising Sales Director at Professional Sports Publications of Philadelphia from June 2015 to February 2017, and contributing as a student writer at Tulane New Wave from January 2013 to May 2015. Earlier internships at Time Warner Cable and NewsChannel 9 WSYR provided foundational experience in the media industry. Gregory holds a degree from Tulane University, having attended from 2011 to 2015.
