Abigail Sarmac

Abigail Sarmac is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and impact investing. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at The Giving Practice since April 2020, Sarmac provides strategic, equity, facilitation, and governance advice to various philanthropic organizations, including notable clients such as The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Meyer Memorial Trust. In addition, Sarmac serves as a Mentor At Large at Santa Clara University’s Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, where support is offered to social enterprise leaders through grants and impact investing expertise. Past roles include Partner at Page Two Partners, Investment Committee Member at VertueLab, and Adjunct Instructor at Portland State University. Sarmac’s educational background includes a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Yale University and a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs from Georgetown University.
