Mark Sedway is an experienced professional in the field of philanthropy and communications, currently serving as a Senior Partner at The Giving Practice since May 2013. Prior to this role, Mark was a consultant at Sedway Associates from January 2007 to May 2013 and held the position of Project Director for the Philanthropy Awareness Initiative from 2007 to 2011. Previous consulting work was done at Williams Group from 2002 to 2006, and Mark also served as the Director of Communications at The James Irvine Foundation between 1997 and 2001. In the early career, independent consulting work was conducted from January 1994 to 1995 as a writer and researcher, and Mark worked as a project director and organizer at People For the American Way from 1990 to 1993. Mark holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts (AB) from Harvard University.
