Steven Ménard

Steven Matthews is an experienced English Language Teacher with a diverse background in teaching at various educational institutions. Currently, at Chongqing Bashu Secondary School since July 2021, Steven teaches IGCSE global perspectives and English language to grades seven, nine, and ten, along with specialized speaking lessons for international students. Prior experience includes roles at Qingdao Grand International School, where language arts were taught with an emphasis on higher-order thinking skills, and the Education International Cooperation Group, where Steven delivered advanced English language skills and IELTS training within an International Foundation Diploma program. Additional teaching experience encompasses positions at Hefei University of Technology, Wuhan Optics Valley Weiming Experimental School, and Zhejiang Ronghuai International School, focusing on English language acquisition and content-based learning. Steven holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Northumbria University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Leeds Beckett University.
