Dirk Reimann is a seasoned expert in digital engineering and process optimization with extensive experience at Philip Morris International since 2001. Currently serving as the Principal Digital Engineering Lead, Dirk has been instrumental in advancing automated quality control and sensorization of production machinery. Previous roles included leading the Automated In-line Controls Program and managing process analysis and control initiatives that enhanced manufacturing performance across PMI's global facilities. Prior to PMI, Dirk held engineering and management positions at Philip Morris Portugal, Volkswagen Autoeuropa, and founded Computer Aided Shape, where pioneering digital manufacturing techniques were developed. Dirk Reimann holds a Diploma in Physics, Chemistry, Crystallography, and Mineralogy from the University of Cologne.
