Navaneel Kar

Navaneel Kar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and leadership across various industries, currently serving as the Managing Director for Philip Morris International in India since December 2023. Prior to this role, Navaneel was the President and Head of India Sales at Tata Consumer Products, overseeing a business turnover of INR 8000 crores and managing a team of over 600 employees. Navaneel's prior experience includes serving as the National Sales Head at ITC Limited, where responsibilities encompassed the FMCG business across five states in Western India, achieving a turnover of INR 6500 crores. Navaneel started the career at Tata Engineering & Locomotive Company Limited as a Sales Manager. Navaneel holds an MBA in Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, along with executive programs in leadership and management and certifications in yoga instruction.
