Maryam Tubio

Maryam Tubio is an experienced professional currently serving as an Information Officer II at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies since February 2021. Prior to this role, Maryam held positions as Technical Staff II at the Social Housing Finance Corporation and as Officer-in-Charge to the Documentation Committee at UP SIBOL. Additional experience includes a marketing internship at the International Rice Research Institute and a stint as a news feature writer at Los Baños Times. Maryam's academic background includes a BS in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and ongoing MA Journalism studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Maryam also obtained an NCIII certification in Accounting and Bookkeeping from Entrepreneurs Accounting Academy Inc.
