Allen A. Espinosa

Allen A. Espinosa is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in science education. Currently serving as a Professor of Science Education and Associate Professor at the Philippine Normal University since June 2012, Allen has taken on significant roles including Director and Fellow at the Educational Policy Research and Development Center and Senior Program Manager at the Philippine National Research Center for Teacher Quality. Recently, Allen began a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Charles University in March 2024. Allen's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry Education from The University of Melbourne and a Master’s in Education, specializing in Chemistry Education from the University of the Philippines Diliman, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (cum laude) from Philippine Normal University Manila.
