Gerald Lucassen

Gerald Lucassen is a Principal Scientist at Philips IP&S, with a rich background in optical imaging and spectroscopy, spanning over 25 years. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist at the Personal Care Institute and held various roles in Philips Healthcare, where they led multiple projects, including those focused on non-invasive blood analysis and spectral tissue sensing technology. Gerald earned a PhD in Physics (cum laude) from the University of Twente, where their research revolved around polarization-sensitive coherent Raman spectroscopy. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership in innovative projects and clinical applications.
