James Woods currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Informatics at Philips since October 2022. Prior to this role, James was with GE Healthcare from September 2010 to October 2022, where positions included Zone Vice President, Market Vice President, Market General Manager, Strategic Account Director, and Clinical Informatics Specialist. James' earlier career includes serving as Sr. Public Sector Account Manager at Sprint Nextel from 2002 to 2010 and as Sr. Account Director at Alcatel USA (formerly DSC Communications) from 1990 to 2001. James holds multiple degrees from Southern Methodist University, including a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) and a Master of Theological Studies (MTS), as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering. Currently, James is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of North Texas.
