Jan van Liempd

Jan van Liempd is a Senior IP Counsel at Philips Intellectual Property & Standards, where they have worked since 1999. They are a registered Dutch and European Patent Attorney specializing in drafting and prosecution of patents, as well as patent litigation in optical storage technology. Previously, Jan held positions as Section Head of Failure Analysis and Process Development Engineer at various Philips divisions, contributing to advancements in LCD technology and optical discs. Jan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology and qualifications in patent law.
