Jason Artis

Jason Artis is an experienced Electrical Design Engineer at Philips Health Systems since November 2015, specializing in the design of wearable sensors and alert systems for medical applications. Prior to this role, Jason served as an Electrical Engineer at Insight Technology from August 2012 to October 2015, where the focus was on designing COTS Inertial Measurement Units and developing sensor calibration processes and algorithms. Earlier experience includes a position as a Manufacturing Engineer at Kiva Systems from December 2007 to September 2012, where Jason developed thin PC design specifications, created a failure mode database to enhance quality metrics, and designed manufacturing workflows in CAD. Jason began a career in engineering as a QA Intern at iRobot in mid-2006, conducting and automating tests for quality assurance and reliability. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, obtained in 2007.
