Joyca Lacroix

Joyca Lacroix is a Principal Scientist in Behavior Change and Team Leader at Philips, where they focus on coaching and personalization. They previously served as a Senior Scientist at Philips Research from 2008 to 2019 and have experience as a Guest Lecturer at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2012 to 2019. Educated at Maastricht University, Joyca earned a PhD in Cognitive Psychology/Computational Modeling and an MSc in Cognitive Psychology, combining health sciences and knowledge engineering. They also gained experience as a Jeugdvoorlichter at UNICEF and have held various academic positions, including Scientific Employee at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Postdoctoral Researcher at Leiden University.
