Kali McCune

Kali McCune, PhD, is a seasoned usability engineer currently employed at Philips since September 2023, previously holding the position of Senior Human Factors Engineer and Usability Engineer at Veranex from October 2021 to September 2023. Kali has extensive experience in leading late-stage usability studies for medical devices, including protocol development, study execution, data analysis, and report writing. Prior roles include Clinical and Human Research Affairs Specialist at Ximedica and multiple positions at Brown University, culminating in a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. In addition, Kali contributed to the development of innovative tissue engineering platforms during academic tenure and a corporate research co-op at Boston Scientific, focusing on medical device innovation through the Stanford Biodesign Process.
