Peter Skillman

Peter Skillman is a seasoned design executive with extensive experience in leading design teams across notable companies, currently serving as the Global Head of Design for Philips since December 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing Connected Care Design and Enterprise Analytics. Prior roles include Director of Design for AWS UX at Amazon and Director of Design for Outlook and Skype at Microsoft, managing large cross-functional teams. Skillman's career began at IDEO Product Development and has included leadership positions at Palm, Nokia, and Handspring, focusing on user experience and product design. Skillman holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
