Wolfgang Riedel

Wolfgang Riedel is currently the Director of DXR R&D at Philips Medical Systems in Hamburg and Suzhou, focusing on the global development of fluoroscopy and digital radiology medical devices. Previously, they held various positions at Philips, including Manager of Global R&D Operations and Head of Systems Engineering, where they were responsible for system design and risk management for advanced radiological systems. Wolfgang also served as Group Manager for Life Cycle Management, building a new department dedicated to managing x-ray medical device production and obsolescence. They are pursuing a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik at FH Hamburg.
