Jared Garb

Jared Garb has extensive experience in the refining industry, currently serving as the Business Team Lead for the Light Oils section at Phillips 66 since January 2013, with responsibilities including overseeing special projects. Previously held roles include Business Team Leader for complex’s 1 & 6 and Operations Superintendent, where duties encompassed supervising on-shift operations across multiple refinery units and managing a team of over 17 operators. Additional roles as Operations Engineer and Process Engineer involved monitoring, optimizing processes, and supporting turnaround projects. Notable accomplishments include leading significant engineering projects such as the vacuum tower unit revamp and Safe Operating Limit site revalidation. Jared Garb also has intern experience with Phillips 66 in process engineering, Procter & Gamble focusing on EPA compliance, and Ensign United States Drilling Inc in a hands-on drilling role. A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering was earned from the University of California, Davis.
