Kathleen Chelling

Kathleen Chelling is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Advanced Process Controls & Modeling Team Lead at Phillips 66 since February 2016, overseeing a team focused on optimizing refinery processes and maintaining DCS alarm management. Previous roles at Phillips 66 include process engineer with expertise in various unit operations and advanced process control engineer specializing in model development for catalytic cracking. Kathleen has diverse experience as a process engineering intern at Phillips 66 and a chemist intern at Morpho Detection, Inc., where Kathleen worked on analytical instrument development. An accomplished educator, Kathleen founded a tutoring program and served as a tutor for various educational organizations. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
