Process Engineer

Megan Smith is a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 2022. Megan gained practical experience during internships at Merrick & Company and R.C. Costello & Assoc., Inc., working on line sizing calculations, utility summaries, flare analysis, and ChemCad modeling for various processes. As a Process Engineer at Phillips 66, Megan served as a technical expert in unit monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization in refining processes, specifically in Sulfur Recovery and related systems. Additionally, Megan contributed to the academic community as a Peer Mentor, supporting first-year scholars through mentorship and guidance.
