Yazan Albakheet

Yazan AlBakheet has extensive leadership and technical experience, currently serving as President of the AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers and its CSULB chapter, alongside roles as Vice President of Internal Affairs and Treasurer in both organizations since August 2021. Yazan is also a member and has held the position of President at The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc. since August 2022. In the technical domain, Yazan works as a Chemical Engineering Laboratory Technician at California State University, Long Beach, and previously interned at Phillips 66 as a University Intern in Refining & Midstream Engineering. Yazan has managerial experience as Team Lead Manager at LAXValet Service and Operations Shift Manager at Airport Valet of LAX. Yazan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a double minor in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate of Arts degree from Santa Monica College.
