Ying Liu

Ying Liu is a Principal Engineer specializing in Energy Transition and Hydrogen at Phillips 66 since January 2011, providing technical guidance for the solid oxide fuel cell program and overseeing research and development in various areas including materials development and system design. Previously, Ying Liu managed the solid oxide fuel cell program as Director and Chief Engineer at Phillips 66, with responsibilities in establishing research directions and managing budgets. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Fuel Cell Engineer at Acumentrics, Inc., focusing on materials development and performance evaluation, and as a Fuel Cell Engineer at GE Global Research, concentrating on materials screening and performance improvement. Ying Liu holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Auburn University, and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
